Superpower can be used to increase Defense while you get SpA boosts. Someone else using Acid Spray or Fake Tears for the combo, and you'll have obscenely powerful Moonblasts from Enamorus. Pair this Pokemon with an Eerie Impulse user, and you'll get +2 SpA thanks to Contrary. This set needs specific support, but it sounds funny as hell. Sap Sipper is also a nice alternative for Grass-types. Besides its pre-evo, the only Intimidate Pokemon in the game that has access to dual screens (especially good for mixed attackers), and unlike Stantler, can viably run an actual item that isn't Eviolite. ![]() Reflect / Light Screen / Psyshield Bash / Leer / Sand Attack / Helping Hand / Role Play / Skill Swap You could also crit cheese with Scope Lens + Focus Energy if you want lol Aqua Cutter and Night Slash become 105 BP and both of them have heightened crit chances. The amount of raw power this bear has will be ridiculous, especially with Screech support.Ī new Screech + Swords Dance mon that becomes very powerful with its moves backed by Sharpness. The new Iron Hands / Azumarill, now with status protection and obscene power via Flame Orb Guts. I'll use my one bump to showcase some other mons I'm pretty excited to try out: Literally any Attack move you want lmao Any of Chilling Water / Screens / Iron Defense / Taunt / Will-O-Wisp / Acid Spray / Bulldoze / Weather-inducing move / etc literally whatever SpA move you want lmao Any of Acid Spray / Fake Tears / Chilling Water / Mud-Slap / Charm / Eerie Impulse Not gonna do EV spreads since these mons are the definition of customizable lmao: Mew also has Nasty Plot, making it a better special attacking option imo. Some of these include Helping Hand, Life Dew, Fake Tears (for Steel-types and Bulletproof mons immune to Acid Spray), Charm, Eerie Impulse, Pollen Puff, and Mud-Slap, just to name a few. However, Mew does have some traits Arceus doesn't thanks to the ability to learn every TM in the game. Arceus-Normal will likely be the best for offensive sets because you can Tera, so you can make use of an item while also being a different type. Arceus will likely be the better of the two thanks to bigger stat numbers, the ability to change its type to better deal with a given opponent, and Recover for reliable self-healing. Cells that only activate in specific situations or when attacking specific parts (Aetherhunter, Ragehunter, Sharpened, Weighted Strikes) are kinda "dead".Mew and Arceus are very similar to each other in that they're movepools are extremely colorful and are Pokemon with even stats across the board (all 100s and all 120s, respectively). You'll find that cells that increase your attack speed or base damage are the most popular. Energized can be awesome on weapons where you build "meter" (Axe, Sword, Chain Blades, Pike), but it's more of a preference. Assassin's Frenzy is super helpful on weapons that are on the slower side, like the Hammer & Axe Parasitic is helpful as well, but +3 is plenty I kept Tough on as a lower level Slayer and it was amazing at keeping me alive A lot of folks skip out on Tough, but that's as they get more experienced. ![]() Cunning is amazing regardless as critical hits are the name of the game, but Pulse you can probably save for weapons with more calculated strikes (I wouldn't put it on the Chain Blades or Hammer for example)īerserker + Tough was a combo I liked a lot - Tough balances out the health loss that comes from Berserker, and the damage bonus from Berserker is objectively awesome. If you can't match the gear, do your best to match the effects - as I'm sure you probably have the cells.Īdrenaline + Endurance tends to be a good combo on a lot of weapons, but especially ones where you burn through stamina rather quickly.Ĭunning + Pulse is amazing on weapons where you can build up to a big hit, such as the Axe Throw or the War Pike missile. The Skraevwing Jacket for example has Adrenaline AND an Alacrity Cell slot, so if you powersurge the Skraevwing Jacket and pop on a +3 Adrenaline, you're already at +6 on that. The pieces of gear are usually very specific so that you can achieve +6 on these effects much easier. As I'm sure you know, +6 is the highest effect that an ability can go to. ![]() ![]() The most important aspect of these builds you should be taking note of are the cells/effects.
