Thank you to Jenny and John for my three-night stay at their wonderful home, ‘The Old Dispensary’ in the historic village of Wellesbourne in Warwickshire. Many thanks to John and Jenny from us both for a very comfortable and extremely enjoyable stay. In summary we would highly recommend Apothecary's Bed and Breakfast at The Old Dispensary and would definitely stay again if re visiting the area. ![]() Wellesbourne main thoroughfare seemed quite busy ,understandably as it is a traffic route to both Warwick and Strafford upon Avon which are only a short distance away. A.K Russell the Butchers where you can purchase the very tasty Old English bacon and local sausages that are included in your Apothecary cooked breakfast.really scrummie,we certainly took advantage of getting stocked up. make sure you visit George the African Grey parrot for a chat in the intriguing pet shop on the high street plus. Wellesbourne has some really pretty and delightful parts to it plus an added bonus is the surprising array of local shops and amenities including a Barclays branch within it.,certainly from our leisurely stroll around, it seemed quite self sufficient. The Old Dispensary is located within the larger then expected village of Wellesbourne, your amenable hosts John and Jenny ensure you have a very enjoyable stay at their beautifully presented home with its most interesting historical past.Excellent facilities,warm and inviting bedroom with comfy bed,en suite with super shower. But, yeah, totally jossed.The Apothecary's Bed and Breakfast was an excellent choice to stay at.recently for two nights whilst we attended a wedding at Walton Hall which is easily accessed as it is only a very short drive away.
